The Grande Tarantella  is a spectacular, exhuberant piece -- originally composed in 1862 for piano duet (1 piano, four-hands.)   Mark Starr's arrangement for large symphony orchestra recalls the colorful style in which Rimsky-Korsakov orchestrated Borodin's Pololvetsian Dances from Prince Igor; and in which Alexander Glazounov orchestrated Borodin's Third Symphony.
